There are certain times that are particularly fitting for beginnings. Spring is one of them.
Here in London, the chestnut trees and cherry blossoms are in full bloom, and most of the other trees are following suit. The sun is out, the park smells of earth and shade. It is an excellent time for a beginning.
This blog has been on my mind for some time. I have had a couple of blogs in the past, with varying degrees of success. They were all about crafts like weaving, or my love for cooking and baking. But I was strangely apprehensive about creating a blog about, well, me.
But the internet is vast, and my little blog is small.
So I figure this first of May, this spring, this worker’s day. This is as good a day for beginnings as any.
My name is Kristine, and I am addicted to the written word.
